The Founders
Kenny
Born and raised in Washington DC, Kenny grew up an energetic little kid, constantly sporting scraped up knees and elbows from skateboarding. After college, he moved to Breckenridge in pursuit of the perfect powder day. During 6 years slaving in various restaurants around town, Kenny met Kari riding through the trees at Copper Mountain. After a 7 year stint in San Francisco working the dot-com dream, he became a father to daughter Ayla and eventually returned back to Colorado. He knows first hand what it’s like to be a stay at home dad, as he was the primary diaper-changer her first two years.
Kari
Kari grew up in the California running around various soccer fields and tennis courts in the Bay Area. After college in Vermont, she moved to Prague for a brief stint to pursue the meaning of life. When she realized this discovery was vastly overrated, she moved to Breckenridge to discover the meaning of snowboarding. In San Francisco, she experienced 6 years of corporate life as a fashion merchant for a multinational retailer. But, Kari is an entrepreneur at heart. One of her proudest achievements is starting her first business at 22, Tom Girl, a boutique located in Breckenridge.
